Commencing in March 2025, as part of their Science and Society Programme, the Kavli Foundation, USA awarded funding to Kavli Oxford to develop and lead a program of research to identify, understand, and address potential ethical issues and implications for the public, as raised by the curiosity-driven scientific research of the institute.

Hosted by Wychwood School, schools from across the county came together to showcase their nanochemistry research ideas.
Sponsored by Kavli Oxford, Professor Dame Carol Robinson presented the opening message followed by two keynotes by Oxford’s Professor Sonia Antoranz Contera and Dr Mootaz Salman.
African Families in the UK
Colleagues from a number of University departments worked with community group, African Families in the UK, to support young people of African and black Caribbean heritage to enjoy science and build cultural connections.
