Works in Progress: Ion Channels and Transporters

Works in Progress: Ion Channels and Transporters

March 13th, 12:30-13:30
Works in Progress: Ion Channels and Transporters
Where: Phase 1 seminar room, near the cafe entrance

This is an informal monthly meeting for students and postdocs working on or interested in ion channels and transporters. There's tea and coffee (please bring a mug), and this week Beth from the Becker group will present her research on preclinical development of TRPC3 inhibitors to treat spinocerebellar ataxia using whole cell patch clamp.

This interest group covers a broad range of techniques and approaches, and talks will have a focus on both research-in-progress (including current challenges!) and explaining the various techniques in use, so that we can share across the diversity of ion channel/transporter research here, exchange ideas, and get to know each other. Feel free to bring lunch and eat during the talk.

The next meeting will be April 17th; email susanne.mesoy@chem.ox.ac.uk to get on a mailing list for these meetings.
