Accelerating Product Development with Proof-of-Concept Funding

Delegates: MRC, MRC IAA awardees, academic and SME/industry investigators wishing to engage in translational research which could impact tropical infectious disease and improve human or animal health in resource-poor settings

The MRC IAA (previously CiC) Tropical Infectious Disease Consortium has renewed funding for 3 more years and is now holding its annual 1-day meeting to review progress and catalyse applications for new translational projects:

  • Focus on diagnostics, therapeutics, vaccines, vector control tools, translational focussed informatics, and translational enabling technologies.

  • Highlight opportunities, facilities and expertise within the Consortium’s partners for collaborative research.

  • Showcase breadth and depth of previously-funded projects, and for the MRC to inform awardees and interested parties of pathways to further translational research funding (e.g., DPFS/TSB).
