Vladyslav Vyazovskiy: The New Vice President of the European Sleep Research Society

It is our great pleasure to share that Kavli INsD's PI, Vladyslav Vyazovskiy is elected as the new Vice President of the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS), during the ESRS Business Meeting held Thursday 29 September 2022, at Sleep Europe 2022 in Athens, Greece.

Vlad Vyazovskiy is a Professor of Sleep Physiology and DPAG's Director of Graduate Studies. The Vyazovskiy Group seeks to understand the neurophysiological mechanisms of sleep regulation, besides the overall function of sleep.

About his new and excitement appointment, Professor Vyazovskiy said that he looks forward to working with the rest of the ESRS Board and the wider community and contribute to the success of their Society.

Since April 2021, Oxford University's KAVLI Institute for Nanoscience Discovery is proudly serving as a hub for research groups from seven different departments spanning both the medical and physical sciences, including The Vyazovskiy Group from the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG).
